A&S ENGAGE! formerly The UofL NETWORK, hosts engaging community conversations, on racial and cultural diversity issues for the UofL Belknap campus and the Metropolitan Louisville community. The Program is an initiative of the College of Arts & Sciences, Office of the Dean, Office for International, Diversity and Engagement Programs, and supports the University’s mission as a diverse metropolitan university.

A&S ENGAGE! strives to:

  • Foster and promote an environment of inclusiveness that empowers us all to achieve our highest potential without fear of prejudice or bias.
  • Build an exemplary educational community that offers a nurturing and challenging intellectual climate, a respect for the spectrum of human diversity, and a genuine understanding of the many differences-including race, ethnicity, gender, socio-economic status, national origin, sexual orientation, disability and religion-that enrich a vibrant metropolitan research university.
  • Greater Metropolitan Louisville community citizens, business representatives are welcome to attend and engage in spirited and constructive dialogue in a safe, inclusive environment.
