Minutes: A&S Planning and Budget Commmittee

October 10, 2003

Members present: Nathan Schwartz, Chair, George Barnes, Susan Dewitt, Martin Klotz, Inessa Levi (ex-officio), Carol Mattingly, and Allen Whitt

Department chairs have been asked to project needs whose fulfillment would help them to contribute to the University.s projected research goals. Inessa Levi asked that the Planning and Budget Committee look at and offer suggestions regarding the major needs outlined by chairs, such as additional space and reduced teaching loads. The Committee will continue that discussion at the next meeting, scheduled for 2:00 Monday October 20th. The meeting adjourned at 3:45 pm.
