The minutes of the meeting of November 7 were approved as distributed.

The committee approved the following curriculum actions, effective Summer 2013.  (General Education proposals must also be approved by the General Education Course Committee.)

PAS 200:  Introduction to Pan African Studies (general education Social/Behavioral credit)
PAS 272:  Reggae Music and the Politics of Black Liberation (new course; general education Arts and CD1 credit)
PAS 273:  Rhythm and Blues Revolution (number change  from PAS 373; general education Arts and CD1 credit)

The committee discussed a proposal from Theatre Arts to designate TA 550: Practicum for CUE credit.

The committee discussed the proposal for  a new course, GEN 205:  Collegiate Success for Arts and Sciences.

The committee discussed a proposal from the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences for changes to its requirements regarding admission to the major.
