Please join the Pan-African Studies Department and its Center on Race and Inequality (CRI) for the 2013 “Hudson/King Justice Lecture” on Thursday, January 31st in Chao Auditorium at 3:00pm.  This year’s lecture is the opening of CRI’s “2013 Race and Masculinities Series”. The speaker is Duke University’s Dr. Mark Anthony Neal. Dr. Neal is the author of numerous works including New Black Man and That’s the Joint: The New Hip-Hop Studies Reader. His lecture is entitled “Looking For Leroy: Legible Black Masculinities.”

This event is free, open to the public and co-sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost for Diversity and International Affairs and the Anne Braden Institute for Social Justice Research.
