Description: Featuring Reverberation: Echo Press Prints, refreshments, and glass demonstrations by Hite Art Institute students. Echo Press opened in 1980 and closed in 1996. During those sixteen years it created an impressive body of work that influenced how print publishers approached the collaborative process. Its example continues to reverberate today, just like resonance its name implies. The Hite Art Institute received a gift of twenty-two important impressions from the overall Echo portfolio for its collection earlier this year. The show, selected from this gift as well as earlier gifts and purchases of Echo Press editions, will highlight the work of Steven Sorman and David Shapiro as well as Mark Luyten, Robin Winters, Debra Kass, Georgia Marsh, and Rudy Pozzatti.
