Muhammad Ali Scholar Application and Program Information for 2019-2021

The Muhammad Ali Institute for Peace and Justice proudly announces the

Ali Scholars Program

A unique two‐year scholarship program combining leadership development, research, and service in:

  • Violence Prevention
  • Peacemaking
  • Social Justice

Muhammad Ali Scholars employ a practical solution‐based approach to conduct research on their "expert area," evaluate successful social justice programs locally and globally, and gain hands‐on experience in the local community.

Students are expected to emerge with values‐based, equity‐centered leadership skills, experience working collaboratively to eliminate the root causes of issues, and a research project impacting their home communities, and ultimately their nations and the world.

The Muhammad Ali Institute invites full‐time students at the University of Louisville who can commit to the entire two‐year program to apply.
