Cooperative Consortium for Transdisciplinary Social Justice Research

The Social Justice Research Consortium is directed by the Anne Braden Institute for Social Justice Research and the Muhammad Ali Institute for Peace and Justice, in collaboration with the Brandeis Laboratory for Citizenshipthe Commonwealth Institute of Kentucky, and Health Sciences Center Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

The Consortium was created to fund social justice research teams, projects, creative activities, and community-engaged scholarship addressing intransigent social problems and systemic inequalities. The Consortium is funded as a 21stCentury University Initiative through an iRFP grant and matching funds from 7 colleges and units, as well as several University offices.
