UofL Regional Scholars Program

Accepted students from various regions will automatically receive this renewable award.

Think you can't afford to attend college out of state?

Think again.

California-, DC Metro-, Illinois-, Indiana-, Metro NY/NJ/PA-, Nashville-, and Southern New England-area students (based on home or school county) accepted to the University of Louisville will automatically receive a $10,000-$16,000 renewable Regional Scholars Award. No additional scholarship application is required.

For the Fall 2022 admission cycle, the University of Louisville is committed to making scholarship opportunities available to all students. We strongly encourage students with qualifying test scores to submit those to automatically receive an admission-based award.

All students accepted without test scores and a 3.25 weighted GPA will be considered for additional funds ABOVE the automatic $10,000 awarded upon admission. These additional funds will be based on a comprehensive review of the high school transcript including grades and curriculum, particularly college prep courses. Awards cannot be stacked but award amounts can increase based on new scores until May 1.
