How to Apply to JCTC

Follow these steps to become a Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) student.

Step 1: Complete the application for admission to JCTC.

    Step 2: Send final high school transcript to:

      Step 3: Apply for Financial Aid.

      Step 4: Take the placement test:

      Step 5: Attend orientation (SOAR):

      • Your orientation will be scheduled with an Assessment Coordinator immediately following your placement test (Step 4).
      • If you are exempt from testing, please contact the assessment center to schedule your orientation date.
      • Make sure to bring your ACT/SAT scores to orientation if exempt from testing.
      • At your orientation session you will meet with an advisor and register for classes. 

      Step 6: After you have your class schedule go to the ULtra office to sign up and complete your ULtra Terms of Agreement (TOA) form.
