Parents

The Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) prohibit discussion of a student’s academic performance with anyone other than the student.  Dual credit UofL instructors follow these FERPA mandates.  Please note that parents will not be notified if a participating student is doing poorly in class.  A parent may discuss grades with their son or daughter, but not the instructor.  Any grade received in a dual credit class will become a part of the student’s high school and college permanent record.
