Welcome to Classics at the University of Louisville

The University of Louisville offers a wide variety opportunities for anyone interested in studying ancient Greece and Rome.  Courses available include ancient Greek, Latin, ancient History, ancient Philosophy, and Classical Civilization.  Select "course offerings" for more information.

For the Humanties Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with concentration in Cultural Studies: Option B, Ancient, Medieval/Renaissance, and Modern, select "Humanities Major".

The national honor society for Classics, Eta Sigma Phi, is represented by a very active chapter here at UofL.  In association with its companion Senior Classical League, our zeta lambda chapter sponsors a variety of events throughout the academic year which are open to all students.  Select "Eta Sigma Phi" for more information.
