The 1920s page is offline indefinitely. Thousands of you--students, educators and others--have written and complemented this web site. I am proud of the recognition and awards it has received from national library, goverment, and educational institutions. A number of changes need to be made to the site's information, and the design and structure are in dire need of revamping. Also, the amount of time I've had to give to responding to various requests related to the site has been too overwhelming. Rather than be rude and ignore e-mails--which I have been forced to do because of career and personal pressures--I've chosen to take the site down for the time being. I do not know when time will again permit me to improve, reactivate and maintain the site. If you are desperate for information from the site, you can probably find old copies of it through a google.com search and use the cache feature to access the content. I no longer can respond to any requests related to the site. Thanks again for everyone's support, compliments and input. I hope to be able to make this resource available again to the hundreds of thousands of children and teachers around the world who have benefited from it. Sincerely, Kevin
