Email Appointment

Making an appointment for an email consultation involves two steps: 

1. Provide us with information about your writing and your concerns by filling in the form below.

2. Attach your paper using the last area of the form below. Remember that the session is only 50 minutes, so we'll only be able to cover a portion of a longer paper. However, we allow up to two appointments per week, so you may want to split a longer paper into two submissions.

If the assignment is due before we are able to schedule your paper for review, we will ask you to confirm your continuing desire for a session.

Consultations last no more than 50 minutes, so please give us your top three concerns in a ranked order. Be as specific as you can by (1) pointing to sections of your paper that trouble you, (2) asking us questions about specific moments in your text, and (3) defining your writing terms. For example, if you want help with organization, briefly explain what you mean when you say “organization.” Writers often have different understandings of words that are commonly used to describe writing. Finally, please note that we may not have time to cover all three concerns, but we promise to address your top concern.
