Empowering Ladies Together (ELT) helps women to excel academically, socially, culturally,and professionally in our community. The mission and purpose of our organization is to empower the Mind, Body, and Soul of the members of this organization along with the women whom attend our events. We encourage women to embrace leadership pursue success,gain sisterhood, and understand the importance of community service. We build a sense of community and a support system for minority women, ELT is minority focused but completely tailored for all women.

Our Major Programs 

General Body Meetings: General Body Meetings (GBMs) are monthly meetings held in the Cultural Center to check in on the Mind, Body, and Soul of our members. 

Talk It Out Sessions: Talk It Out Sessions (TIOs) are monthly discussions and panels that focus on issues affecting women of color on campus, in the Louisville community, and the world.

Annual Women’s Empowerment Dinner: Join us as we celebrate women on campus with beautiful performances and talented guest speakers as we celebrate the mind, body, and soul of the women of UofL and the Louisville community. Date and theme to come!

Finals Kickback and Games Night: Join ELT as we de-stress and wind down before diving into finals! Details to come!
