Phyllis M. Webb, Program Coordinator in the U of L Women’s Center accompanied a group of U of L students to the American Association of University Women (AAUW) National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) this past May at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. Courtney Albers, Kaelin Black, Tiarra Clark and Holly McTaggart attended various workshop sessions, awards ceremony & reception; career fair and other events over the course of the 3-day period.  Ms. Webb also attended several sessions geared toward campus professionals.

Two of the students, along with Ms. Webb, were able to visit the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in Alexandria, Virginia and three students and Ms. Webb visited Congressman John Yarmuth’s Office in Washington, D.C. prior to the conference.
