Women's Center Empowers Incoming Students at the Kristy Love Foundation for SOUL

The Women's Center hosted a SOUL (Student Outreach Uniting Louisville) site with 10 incoming UofL Freshmen at the Kristy Love Foundation - a place of hope for survivors of human trafficking. The students and the survivors made cards full of encouragement and strength as well as a colorful wreath to greet the incoming women.

The Kristy Love Foundation is a non -profit organization dedicated to helping women who have been trafficked, abused and addicted to drugs and alcohol. The KristyLove Foundation provides shelter and case management to help lead women to better health care, education, and employment. The KLF house is structured to teach women needed living skills; complete abstinence from drugs, a daily routine, the will to say no and emphasis on how to follow directions.
