Taking Your Writing Deeper will be a workshop-style class for writers of all genres who want to take their writing to a deeper level of emotional authenticity.  Through writing exercises and discussion, participants will learn how to find truth, how to explain truth, and how to write truth, while developing a language for the discussion of emotions.  For fiction writers, this workshop will offer methods for developing characters' inner lives on a deep level.  For non-fiction writers, including poets and memoirists, this workshop will offer methods for self-exploration through writing.  Please bring pen and paper.

 Kit Willihnganz has been writing all of her life.  She owns and operates Women Writing for (a) Change, a writing school for women that emphasizes nurturing and exploration in a supportive, non-competitive environment.  Kit holds a B.A. in Theatrical Linguistics from Indiana University and is currently pursuing an M.F.A. in Writing from Spalding University.  She believes in writing as a form of healing and a source of joy for both the author and the reader.  You can visit Women Writing for (a) Change for upcoming classes and events."
