Trailblazing Women
UofL's Trailblazing Women
The year 2020 will mark the 100th anniversary of the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment, which gave women the right to vote, and the 55th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, prohibiting barriers to voting based on race or color.
Like the trailblazing women who fought for our right to vote, we will be recognizing 45 “Trailblazing” people who have directly made an impact on women and who are connected to the University.
