Third Energizing Kentucky conference April 15-16 in LexingtonRenowned author and scholar Jared Diamond will present the keynote address at the final conference in the Energizing Kentucky series, April 15, Hyatt Regency in Lexington. Diamond is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author of “Guns, Germs and Steel” and “Collapse: How Societies Choose to Succeed or Fail.” He teaches geography and physiology at UCLA. Energizing Kentucky is a conference series created in collaboration by University of Louisville President James Ramsey, University of Kentucky President Lee Todd, Centre College President John Roush and Berea College President Larry Shinn.
