Three ways to complete dual degree

There are at least three ways to approach the curriculum for the dual degree:

 

Option 1 (WGST and SW courses blended throughout degree plan)

For either of these options, consult closely with the director of graduate studies in WGST and the Kent School graduate director. The following courses in Social Work must be taken simultaneously, and SW 604, 670, and 605, 671 must be completed before SW 640, 672, 677, 673):

  • SW 604 and SW 670 (offered in fall)
  • SW 605 and SW 671 (offered in spring)
  • SW 640 and SW 672 (offered in fall)
  • SW 677 and SW 673 (offered in spring)

The following courses in WGS should be taken in the first year of study:

  • WGST 600 and WGST 602 (offered in fall)
  • WGST 603 (offered in spring)
