Using WebDAV to manage non-CMS websites
Documentation on setting up and using WebDAV using built-in tools available in Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X.
Due to the migration of ALL 'old' Athena-based websites to the 'New' Temporary Static Webserver hardware, we are discontinuing the use of FTP and SSH for file transfer to legacy, non-CMS (aka Athena-based) sites. After December 22, 2008, you will be using WebDAV exclusively for file transfers to these static, non-CMS sites until the June 30, 2009 'New' Temporary Static Webserver shutdown date. On June 30, 2009, all static sites will be in the Plone CMS.
