The - MWSnap screen shot utility makes it easy.

MWSnap - a simple screen capture utility

Screen shots for Windows

MWSnap is a great free shareware screen capture utility for Windows. It includes the ability to capture:

  • A window or menu
  • Any rectangular area
  • A fixed-size rectangle

Useful Image Editing

MWSnap includes some very useful basic image editing options, allowing you to easily add simple frames around your images and place pointers and cursors on your snapshots from a palate of familiar windows cursors. These are great little features, hard to find elseware.

File Saves and Formats

Additionally, MWSnap has a handful of naming options when saving files, and can even auto-save or save after a user-definable number of seconds. File formats include jpg, gif, png, and more.
