link behavior addition

Add a behavior to the link type. A link should be able to go directly to the URL defined in the object. A checkbox should be added to the link object to enable this behavior.

Group-based sharing permissions

• Allow us to use peoplesoft/ldap groups for 'sharing' permissions.

Restricted content workflow state

Setup a Role (RestrictedViewers) and workflow state (RestrictedView) to restrict View permission to content only to authenticated users/groups in the RestrictedAccess role.

SSL

Setup a method to allow content creators to force view of a content item to SSL (https). (Perhaps attach this method to the already customized UofLFolder.)

Content Type Ownership change

Since some of our departments will have many people working on and editing content, we need a process for someone to change the ownership of a piece of content. (Would this mean creating another role to allow this security option to distribute to a local "webmaster/mini-manger"?)

Note: ownership_form process already exists. We might be able to modify this to work with UofL's LDAP environment and to allow Owner to transfer to another person.

Add Notes to Page Content Type

breadcrumbs

breadcrumbs do not need the "sitename"... so they should read: 'home > folder > folder > title' instead of 'home > sitename/Title > folder > folder > title'

history

Lists emplID in history list instead of UserID or Name. A user's **EmplID* should never be revealed.*

UI

• Left-Nav - make the color-theme selections work.
• The left-nav color schemes should reflect the changes in the color-scheme selection, including the color of the left-nav column.
• Have the '<title>' tag be: $Page_Title, $Site_Title, - University of Louisville
• Can we have bullets (or some type of separator) between the items on the left navigation bar?
• More color schemes should be added to reflect the OCM recommend options (eg purple, green, etc.).
• Make the Left-nav background color not be fixed-width.
• change the name of the 'Content Portlet Reference' to something that means 'Right Column Sidebar Add-in'.
• Add descriptive pop-up labels to the Content Management tabs such as content, sharing, etc.. The Drop-down items already have this.
• The FormMailer pop-up description is weird. Shorten it to one line.
• Change the right-column Portlet heading colors for better contrast (accessibility) and to reflect color-theme selection.
• move the "by line" to the bottom-right of the content display - or provide some facility to supress.
• Top-Nav - improve the tab colors to be more pleasing.

PloneFormMailer

portal-factory - auto-name

Is it possible to auto-name the FormMailer object based on Title? Yes... the 1.0a version provides this and will be rolled in.

exclude from nav property

Needs "Properties" tab and to include/inherit BaseSchema's 'excludeFromNav' property.* Ditto... in the 1.0a version. Will be rolled-in soon.
