Alumni Profile:

William E. McAnulty Jr. was born the same year his personal hero, Jackie Robinson, became the first African American in Major League Baseball. Now McAnulty is the Jackie Robinson of the Supreme Court of Kentucky. He became the first African American to serve on the Supreme Court this past summer when he was appointed to fill the position vacated by retiring Justice Martin E. Johnstone. He then won the November election to maintain his place on the court for a full eight-year term.
