Kid-Safe Drugs

Established in 2002, the University of Louisville Kosair Charities Pediatric Clinical Research Unit at Kosair Children’s Hospital generates scientific data that can lead to the correct labeling of therapeutic drugs for children. Currently, only five of the 80 drugs most frequently given to newborns and infants are labeled for pediatric use.
