U of L and the Final Frontier
U of L scientists have been collaborating with the National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA) for years. According to NASA, U of L received nearly $3 million in NASA contracts in 2003. With the announcement of a new NASA/Kentucky partnership, that figure is expected to rise. From medicine to the arts and sciences to engineering, U of L has its eyes on the stars.
