Farewell Phil
In May, political science professor Phil Laemmle will retire from the only academic job he has ever held. An active figure in freshmen orientation and the "Ritualist" at Commencement, for thousands of U of L students Laemmle is the guy who greeted you when you began college and saw you off when you graduated. Now his fans will have a chance to get their own bit of Laemmle memorabilia at the upcoming O.D.O.R. (Official Disbursement of Office Relics) event, in which Laemmle's eclectic collection of office items will be auctioned off. Proceeds will benefit his beloved U of L students.
