Over the past year, the University of Louisville's Allen R. Hite Art Institute has displayed an impressive collection of etchings collected by 1955 alumnus Steven L. Block. He often returns and gazes at the collection, which includes works by Rembrandt, Picasso, Grant Wood and more. They are like old friends to him. They have been a big part of his life—and of his own personal journey in American history
