U of L’s own political experts ask alumnus Howard Fineman about the presidential campaign
Howard Fineman, a 1980 graduate of U of L’s law school, is Newsweek’s chief political correspondent and a news analyst for NBC. He started his journalism career in 1973 at the Courier-Journal, where he covered his first two presidents, Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter. Having interviewed and covered every presidential contender since 1984 for Newsweek, Fineman was at full election pace when we caught up with him on the 2004 campaign trail. He graciously took time to answer questions collected from U of L political science professors.
