The Kentucky Lions Eye Institute houses the university's Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. The institute conducts cutting-edge research in areas including glaucoma and corneal diseases.
Carmichael Building
The Carmichael Building is the temporary home of the
Department of Diagnostic Radiology. The department will remain there until construction of the new Emergency Room at U of L Hospital is complete.
James Graham Brown Cancer Center
The James Graham Brown Cancer Center houses the Henry Vogt Cancer Institute. Center researchers pioneered a test now used internationally in the routine treatment of breast cancer.
