Approved Announcements

The university has five potential announcements in case of inclement weather or other emergencies. The announcements below may be altered if circumstances warrant.

Closed

University of Louisville Classes and Offices are closed today, DATE.

UofL Physicians clinical and administrative staff and patients who have appointments with UofL Physicians practices or clinics should call 588-6000 regarding closings or delays. University Hospital is open.

Delayed Schedule, Classes and Offices

The University of Louisville classes and offices will operate on a delayed schedule beginning at xx a.m. All classes that end before xx a.m. will be canceled. Students who normally would be in a class at xx a.m. should go to that class at that time. Classes beginning at or after xx a.m. will begin and end at their regular times.

Offices will open at xx a.m.

Classes Delayed, Offices on Regular Schedule

The University of Louisville classes will operate on a delayed schedule beginning at xx a.m. All classes that end before xx a.m. will be canceled. Students who normally would be in a class at xx a.m. should go to that class at that time. Classes beginning at or after xx a.m. will begin and end at their regular times.

Offices will be open on their regular schedules.

Classes Canceled, Office Open

Classes at the University of Louisville are canceled today, DATE; offices will open at xx a.m.

Evening Classes Canceled

Evening classes at the University of Louisville beginning at or after 4:15 p.m. are canceled for DATE.

Shut Down

The University of Louisville will shut down beginning at xx p.m. today, DATE. Classes beginning at or after xx p.m. are cancelled, and supervisors are advised to allow staff to leave on a staggered schedule beginning at xx p.m. All staff must consult with their supervisor before leaving.
