The Student Activities Board is inviting the entire community to its 10th annual Block Party, the group’s largest event of the year.

The free party is 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, on Cardinal Boulevard, between Third and Fourth streets, just in front of Cardinal Towne. The event features carnival rides, laser tag, a zip line, mechanical bull, and music and deejay appearance from WAMZ and RadioNow. Free hot dogs and Pepsi Products will be available, and attendees can purchase $3 funnel cakes.

The Block Party helps the university kick off Homecoming 2013. Game day is Friday, Oct. 18.

Block Party sponsors are SAB, the Red Barn Alumni Association and Class Act Credit Union. For more information, email Adam Knecht.
