Strong says he will stay

Coach Charlie Strong announced earlier today that he will stay at the University of Louisville and that he and Athletic Director Tom Jurich are working on a long-term contract.

“Charlie Strong is a great coach, role model and asset to our university and community,” said UofL President James Ramsey. “His announcement today reinforces our message that UofL is on a big, upward trajectory athletically and academically. It also proves, once again, that Tom Jurich is the best athletic director in the country.”
