“The Muppet Movie” will be the final movie in UofL’s 2012 Cards Under the Stars outdoor family film series Friday, Sept. 21, on the Natural Sciences Lawn.

Activities including inflatable rides and games will begin at 6:30 p.m. The movie will begin at dusk. Patrons are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers and picnic baskets. Sodexo will sell food on site.

“The Muppet Movie” is the story of Kermit the Frog, who is persuaded by an agent to pursue a career in Hollywood. Along the way, Kermit picks up Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, The Great Gonzo, and a motley crew of other Muppets with similar aspirations. Meanwhile, Kermit must elude the grasp of a frog-leg restaurant magnate.

This is the third movie in the summer series. Movies are selected by popular vote among faculty and staff.
