Moving challenge trophy comes to UofL

UofL brought home two trophies Saturday. One was the annual American Heart Association UofL vs. UK moving challenge trophy.

Last spring, UofL defeated UK by more than 13,000 – steps per participant. While in-state rivalries can be intense, for this competition the two universities have a common goal — to make moving a regular parts of faculty and staff lives and to improve their health.

President James Ramsey; Kathy Renbarger, executive director, American Heart Association; and Patricia Benson, director, Get Healthy Now, took the trophy from Britt Brockman, UK Board of Trustees chairman; Jody Ensman, health and wellness manager at UK; Helen Moseley, UK wellness specialist; and Joey maggard, executive director, American Heart Association.
