Flu cases are on the rise around the nation. So far, UofL has only a slight increase in flu cases, but now, says Campus Health Services, is the time for students, faculty and staff to take steps to prepare themselves against the flu.
- Get your flu shot. CHS is still giving flu shots, and no appointment is needed. Clinic hours are online. Call 852-6479 for more information.
- Wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizer. UofL has placed hand sanitizer dispensers across its campuses.
- If you have to sneeze or cough, cover your mouth with your sleeve — not your hands — to reduce the spread of germs. Watch this video to see how to sneeze properly.
- If you are sick, stay home or in your dorm room to prevent spreading germs to others.
