After a surprising 6-6 season, the UofL football team has accepted a bid to compete in the Beef O' Brady's Bowl Dec. 21 in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The Cards will represent the Big East Conference against the University of Southern Mississippi of Conference USA.
"This is a huge accomplishment for our football team and an exciting announcement for our fans," Tom Jurich said. "We're looking forward to taking a large crowd to St. Petersburg."
