Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Eugene Robinson will receive UofL’s Louis D. Brandeis School of Law’s 2014 Brandeis Medal on April 9.

The prize, the school’s highest honor, goes to social justice advocates. Louisville native and journalist Bob Edwards will join Robinson at the event for an on-stage discussion on national issues.

Robinson’s schedule:

  • 10:30 a.m. – Wreath laying ceremony in the portico of the law school, a tradition upheld by Brandeis Award winners.
  • 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. – Open forum with law students in Room 275. Robinson will answer questions afterward.
  • 6 p.m. – Award ceremony begins, The Brown Hotel, 335 W. Broadway
