Tree debris littered campus after the storm.

A preliminary report Monday, April 30, showed about 100 cracked or broken windows and some broken skylights; body damage to about 40 university vehicles and a couple of cracked windshields; and roof damage. Campus trees also took a beating with debris covering campus lawns.

Physical plant crews have started to replace broken window glass and all windows are in the process of being taped or boarded, according to Mitchell Payne, associate vice president for business affairs.

A contractor and insurance adjustor are assessing the roof damage.

Anyone who is aware of damage to university property should call Sandy Russell in the Office of Insurance at 852-4652.
