Fund for the Arts
The arts create community.
The Fund for the Arts and its champions believe that the arts are a Big Deal, key to making our landscape brighter and better every day of the year with concerts, plays, exhibits and educational programs for everyone in our community to enjoy.
Not only do the arts contribute to our quality of life—part of why Louisville is repeatedly named one of the best places in this country to raise a family—but the arts and cultural organizations in our region generate more than $259 million in local economic activity.
Since its inception in 1949, the Fund for the Arts has raised more than $130 million and broadened awareness for the arts. We couldn’t have accomplished so much without the encouragement, support and advocacy of dedicated people just like you.
Why give to Fund for the Arts?
You’ll help us support 25 arts groups and programs that are
enjoyed by more than 1.5 million students, families and patrons throughout
Kentuckiana.
- You’ll help us provide over 200 community arts grants to schools and
organizations in our region.
- When you make an annual gift of $25 or more, you’ll receive the ArtsCARD, which entitles you to up to 50 percent off tickets to select performances and merchandise from our member groups.
Your contribution to the Fund for the Arts now will ensure the growth and excitement of Louisville for many years to come. That really is a Big Deal!
