Arts make our community
Because you support the Fund for the Arts you can go to over 1,000 world-class events, exhibits, productions and performances each year. From Actors Theatre to the PNC Bank Broadway Series--it's all right here in your own hometown. Take the kids and go see Stage One or enjoy an intimate night of grandeur at the Brown Theatre for a Kentucky Opera performance. Your gift brings these experiences to life. And if your kids want to get involved in the performing arts, Louisville is the best place in America for them! The Louisville Youth Orchestra, Louisville Youth Choir and Walden Theatre are all right here. The list goes on and on all because you support the Fund for the Arts.
Give. It's simple.
When you give to the Fund for the Arts, you do more than help generate an Arts economy of over $259 million in local economic activity. You do more than support Arts education for over 400,000 schoolchildren. Your participation helps give life to the very meaning of what makes our hometown one of the very best cities in which to live in America.
Get. It's easy.
When you get involved with the Fund for the Arts in your neighborhood, workplace, or child's school, you provide incredible support of our Arts and you help and encourage others to do the same. Did you realize more than 1.5 million people are reached by the Arts each year in our community? That's because people in our community get it.
Our schoolteachers support our Arts more than in any other place in America. Our firefighters, corrections officers and police officers are all leadership donors to the Fund for the Arts! And, where else but here do volunteers from JeffBoat to Jewish Hospital, Norton Healthcare and Baptist Hospital line up to enlist their fellow workers to support our Arts?
