Bachelor of Science in Early Elementary Education — Leading to Certification in Early Elementary Grades P-5Major: ERED Concentration: Learning and Behavioral Disorders (certification grades P-12) Degree: BSR Unit: College of Education and Human Development (ED) Department: EDTL Teacher Education Admission Requirements: A minimum of 45 semester hours; 2.75 or higher overall recommended GPA; 3.0 or higher GPA in EDTP 107, 201, MATH 151, 152; 21 or higher ACT Composite Score recommended, “C” or better in English 102, “C” or better in Oral Communication course. Mid-Point Assessment: Prior to Elementary and Special Education Student TeachingSatisfactory dispositions assessment; Completion of EDTP 301, 328, 330, 345, 346, 355, 337, 420, and 510, each with no lower than a C; “Pass” in all clinical field work (EDTP 311, 313, 320, 322, 324, 441, and 442 with no more than one grade below B-; Satisfactory mid-point portfolio; Positive recommendation from Elementary and Special Education Program Committees.
