WHEN/WHAT do I disclose?
Whenever a Researcher has developed something they think is truly remarkable or innovative in their research, they should disclose it to the OTT. Don't worry about whether or not you have an "Invention", we will help you figure that out.

HOW do I disclose?
RESEARCH DISCLOSURE and RESEARCH MATERIALS DISCLOSURE at UofL can occur in a variety of ways:

FULL RESEARCH DISCLOSURES:

1) Fill out the RESEARCH DISCLOSURE FORM and submit it to the OTT.

Version 1: ONLINE DATABASE RESEARCH DISCLOSURE FORM (Allows you to save as you go) or fill out the
Version 2: WORD FORMAT RESEARCH DISCLOSURE FORM

or

2) Call the OTT and schedule a meeting with a Case Manager who will work with you to fill out the RESEARCH DISCLOSURE FORM.

RESEARCH MATERIAL DISCLOSURES:

1) Fill out the Shortened RESEARCH MATERIAL DISCLOSURE FORM and submit to the OTT (Word version only).

OR

2) Call the OTT and schedule a meeting with a Case Manager who will work with you to fill out the RESEARCH MATERIAL DISCLOSURE FORM.
