Amy Steiger
Amy Steiger has a PhD in Performance as Public Practice from the Theatre and Dance Department at the University of Texas at Austin. A scholar, actor and director, Amy has taught at the University of Texas and Texas A&M University. The focus of her current research is acting, critical pedagogy and civic engagement. She works with students to develop a method of training and rehearsal that combines dramatic literature, ensemble and solo performance, community-based research, and civic dialogue.
