Bert Harris (Faculty Director)
The founder of the UofL Repertory Company, which has performed throughout the region since 1975. His previous ventures into Suzuki-based productions include The Trojan Women in 1984 and Bacchae in 1996. He has also directed for such local theatres as The Necessary Theatre, The Kentucky Contemporary Theatre, and Pegasus Rising Productions. His research into the acting process has centered in recent years on the work of Joe Chaikin and the Open Theatre, Tadashi Suzuki, and Anne Bogart's "Viewpoints." He teaches acting, directing, and dramatic literature. Medea was his 108th university or professional production, and his last theatrical production at UofL
