The University of Louisville DOES NOT accept DSST examinations for course credit.

DSST examinations are given through the University of Louisville Testing Service office once the examination has been ordered and received. There are no regularly scheduled dates. Examinees are advised to contact specific departments within their colleges and universities regarding DSST acceptance policies before registering for any exam. It is the examinee's responsibility to ensure that he/she registers for the correct exam. Examinations are administered based upon the exact test title you provide on the registration form.

Registration:

In order to register, you must either obtain a DSST registration form by calling our office (502-852-6606) to have one mailed OR download and print the DSST registration form (PDF). Return the completed form and the $30 registration fee per exam to our office. Our mailing address for forms is: Testing Services, Davidson Hall Room 310, Louisville, KY 40292. No more than three examinations may be taken on any given test date. When your exam comes in, we will contact you to schedule a testing appointment.

Fees:

The DSST fee for each exam is $80. The DSST fee must be paid by credit card, certified check or money order at the time of the exam. DSST does NOT accept personal checks. There is also a $30 non-refundable registration fee per exam made payable to the University of Louisville which must accompany your registration form. The U of L fees may be combined on one check. If you need to reschedule your exam there is an additional $20 rescheduling fee.
