UofL is organizing this panel discussion on the disparate health and economic impacts of pollution from Rubbertown industries on communities of color in West Louisville.

There has been recent residential opposition to a request to modify some of American Synthetic Rubber Co’s risk-based environmental goals.

Invited speakers include Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control administrator, Keith Talley; Metro Council member, Jessica Green; activist Ebony Cochran; and community advocate, Arnita Gadson.

The Yearlings Club Forum Series is sponsored by the Office of the Dean of the UofL College of Arts and Sciences, Office for International, Diversity and Engagement Programs and The Yearlings Club, Inc. This exciting partnership is a university Signature Partnership Initiative.
