UofL Sustainability Week - A Sustainable Homecoming! Oct. 17-23, 2016
A full week of events to celebrate and raise awareness in conjunction with Homecoming Week! Full details below, but events will include:
- Monday-Tuesday Oct. 17-18, 11am-2pm – Weigh the Waste (The Ville Grill)
- Monday Oct. 17, 6-8pm – Trick or Trivia with Animal Welfare (Red Barn)
- Monday Oct. 17, 6:30-7:30pm – Campus Sustainability Tour (Leaves from College of Business)

Tuesday, Oct. 18, all day – UofL Day of Giving (designate your gift to the "Green Fund for UofL")

Tuesday, Oct. 18, 9:30am – Islam and Climate Change (HSC School of Public Health & Information Sciences, Conf. Rm 001)
- Tuesday, Oct. 18, noon – Diversity Dialogue Series: “Equity vs. Equality” (Cultural Center)
- Tuesday, Oct. 18, 4-6pm – Bike Maintenance Workshop at HSC (HSC Kornhauser Plaza)
- Tuesday, Oct. 18, 6:30-8pm – Race, Place and Perceptions: Making Louisville Home for Us All (Cultural Center)

You could win a $400 shopping spree at a local bike shop just for using transportation alternatives this week! Cardinal Directions is UofL’s new trip-finding and carpool-matching tool which shows all of your transportation options on one map. Use it during UofL Sustainability Week (Oct. 17-23) and you could be a winner. Simply log your trips by carpool, transit, bike, or walking and you’ll be entered into a raffle for a $400 bike shop voucher from the UofL Sustainability Council. Open to all.
