Myth #1: IT’S EXPENSIVE

  • You can generally use Federal or Institutional Financial Aid towards your program!
  • You can apply for additional study abroad scholarships.
  • There are a variety of options for a variety of budgets.
  • Studying abroad for a semester is generally cheaper than paying out-of-state tuition. 

Myth #2: TIMING

  • The classes you take abroad count toward your degree so you can still graduate on time;
  • We have short term options: 10 days over winter break, 2 weeks / 1 month / 2 months during summer. 

Myth #3: LANGUAGE

  • Most programs are offered in English,even in countries like France, Japan, Thailand, Chile, and more!
  • If you are a foreign language major or minor, it’s the best way to build fluency!
  • Some students are able to complete language minors by studying abroad!
