CRIME ALERT - Belknap Campus, Aug. 22, 2008
University of Louisville Police Department received a report Aug. 22 at 2 a.m. of an attempted robbery of a UofL student near Stansbury Park. The student reported that he was walking to his vehicle at about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 21 when a black male in his 20s approached him. The suspect had a knife and attempted to rob the student. The student ran to his dorm. He was not robbed or injured.
You have received this crime notification as an informational item so you can take any precautions you feel are necessary for your safety. CRIME ALERT - Belknap Campus, Feb. 14, 2008
The University of Louisville Police Department has received a report that on Feb. 13 at about 8:30 p.m. four suspects approached a male student between Ekstrom Library and Third Street. One of the suspects punched the victim in the face while the others took his back pack. The victim received minor injuries. The suspects, last seen fleeing campus on foot, are described as black males, 5'9"-6'2", average build and wearing dark clothing.

Crime Alert for Belknap Campus Community
The Louisville Metro Police Department reports an off-campus robbery of a University of Louisville student at Fourth Street and Central Avenue, Tuesday, Aug. 22, at 1:15 a.m. The victim said that two suspects approached him as he was using the National City ATM. The suspects assaulted the victim and robbed him of $20. They are described as black males and were last seen leaving the area on foot.

Crime Alert for Belknap Campus Community
The University of Louisville Police Department received two separate reports of robbery (by physical threat) of two students. Both incidents took place Aug. 21 between 5:45 and 8:45 p.m. The first student was approached near the Life Sciences Building and the second student was approached near the Interfaith Center.
Both victims said a white male in his 20s approached them attempting to sell magazines. The victims said they felt threatened and compelled to purchase a subscription. One of the students was threatened with her life if she did not comply.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6'1", 120-135 lbs, brown hair, and wearing blue jeans and a tan shirt. He may be working for the Alliance Service Co.
