Work-Study Position - Technology Assistant

Fall work-study position is available for a Student Technology Assistant. This student will provide overall assistance in technology related areas with the Division of Student Affairs. Major qualifications include:

  • Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with HTML and WEB page design
  • Experience with digital photography helpful but not required.
  • Knowledge of university software and network systems helpful – GroupWise, Novell Client.
  • Basic hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Demonstrate and maintain professional qualities including but not limited to dependability, flexibility, willingness to learn, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to independently travel between different university buildings completing work assignments.
  • Minimal lifting and moving of equipment – monitors, printers, CPUs.
